Lodi Concentrate for Infusion is used for the treatment of the irregular beating of the heart called “arrhythmia”.

Lodi Concentrate for Infusion controls your heart if it is not beating as it should.

Lodi as a concentrate for infusion is usually only prescribed when an immediate response is required or if tablets are not suitable for the patient. The doctor will administer the injection and the patient will be observed under specialist or hospital care.

Lodi Concentrate for Infusion is not recommended to be used in adolescents.

Lodi Concentrate for Infusion, PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE. Lodi Concentrate for Infusion is a clear, colourless or slightly yellow solution for administration intravenously. It is available in glass ampoules containing 150 mg of amiodarone hydrochloride in 3 mL.

Treatment with Lodi Concentrate for Infusion must only be administered under specialist of hospital supervision. Lodi Concentrate for Infusion is indicated for Tachyarrhythmias associated with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome and all types of tachyarrhythmias including; nodal and ventricular tachycardias, supraventricular, atrial flutter, ventricular fibrillation and fibrillation when other medications are unable to be used. Lodi Concentrate for Infusion is to be used when a rapid response is necessary.

Lodi Concentrate for Infusion has risks and benefits. Do not use Lodi Concentrate for Infusion if you are allergic to amiodarone, iodine, or any of the other ingredients of Lodi Concentrate for Infusion. Discuss with your doctor if you are allergic to any dyes, preservatives, other medication or foods. Please inform your doctor before taking Lodi Concentrate for Infusion if you are taking, or have recently taken any other medicines, including any medicines obtained without a prescription from the pharmacy, health store or supermarket.

The daily dose of Lodi Concentrate for Infusion depends on the seriousness of the patient’s illness. The dosage and the time of treatment will be decided by your doctor, who will alter these for the patient.
