Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory
Melorex is used to treat the symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Both diseases mainly affect the joints causing pain and swelling. Melorex can relieve symptoms such as pain and inflammation (swelling, redness and soreness), however, it will not cure the condition.
Melorex, PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE. Melorex tablets contain meloxicam 7.5mg or 15mg. Melorex is provided in blister packs of 30 tablets. Melorex is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Meloxicam tablets have risks and benefits. If you have any concerns about using Melorex, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use Melorex if you are allergic to meloxicam or any of the other ingredients in Melorex. Discuss with your doctor if you are allergic to any dyes, preservatives, other medication or foods. Melorex comes in two different strength tablets. Your doctor will have decided which strength you need and how many tablets to take. It is important that you follow the prescribed instructions your doctor gave you on the dosage of Melorex and the duration you should take it.
