5-Alpha Reductase Inhibitors
Ricit is used for the treatment and control of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and for the prevention of urologic events to: reduce the risk of acute urinary retention and to reduce the risk of surgery including transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) and prostatectomy.
Ricit tablets are not indicated for use in women or children.
Ricit, PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE. The active ingredient in each Ricit tablet is Finasteride 5 mg. Ricit tablets are provided in packs of 100 tablets.

Ricit tablets are NOT indicated for use in women and children.
Ricit tablets have risks and benefits. Do not use Ricit tablets if you are allergic to finasteride or any of the other ingredients of Ricit tablets. Discuss with your doctor if you are allergic to any dyes, preservatives, other medication or foods. Please inform your doctor before taking Ricit tablets if you are taking, or have recently taken any other medicines, including any medicines obtained without a prescription from the pharmacy, health store or supermarket.
The recommended dosage is one Ricit 5 mg tablet daily with or without food. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor of healthcare professional. Discuss with your doctor if you have any concerns.
